Anne-Marie Symons is an award winning filmmaker and comedian. She grew up in County Cork, Ireland the only girl of six children. She immigrated to the United States as a child and realized then that humor was the best way to find common ground and acceptance. Anne-Marie attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, HB. She has written and produced award winning short films, produced music videos and has performed stand-up comedy all over the world.
Her latest film iListen, a hilarious sci-fi comedy, is currently taking the festival circuit by storm. It has received numerous awards and nominations. Making people laugh and see the humor in life and using that as a tool for empathy and understanding is Anne-Marie’s passion.
In her free time she enjoys gardening and doing home remodeling and construction.
